    Playing with Clay (4th-6th Grades)

Campers will learn basic handbuilding techniques such as pinch pottery, slab building, coil building, and score & slip. They’ll practice those skills making fun, imaginative projects - in the past, students have made gnome cottages, ceramic foods, cups, bowls, and a wide array of animals. Our instructor will guide students from the beginning of the design process through the finished glazed products.

**Please note:  This is a 4-day week due to the Independence Day Holiday.**

Everyone loves LEGOs! In this super-fun camp, young artists will construct sculptures, make art prints, and even create a stop-motion animation video using the colorful interlocking blocks. This isn’t a step-by-step LEGO construction experience, but a full-on art experimentation camp for creative kids wanting to push their creative limits.

**Please note:  This is a 4-day week, as the building is closed on Monday, July 4, 2022, in observance of Independence Day.**

    Photography Intensive (8th-12th Grades)

Students who are interested in AP art, a college art degree, pursuing art as a career, or just really want to take their skills up a notch will spend the week working closely with a professional photographer. They’ll practice using various lighting techniques and camera settings with a variety of subject matter and learn how to edit their digital photos professionally. Campers will also learn about careers centered around photography during the week. This is for students who are serious about art and want to develop their skills in a relaxed, fun environment.
