Linoleum Block Carving & Printing
Learn to carve and print linoleum blocks, and use them to make holiday ornaments and gifts. This single day workshop will explore the process of linoleum block printing step by step, and provide you with the skills and materials to make your own holiday ornaments. No experience is necessary and beginners are encouraged to join. The class will provide materials, including 8 wooden medallions for printing and linoleum blocks for carving your designs. Students will learn both how to carve and how to print their block within the class, and additional time will be given to complete their own. Design your own, or use one of the simple designs provided to make a one of a kind handmade gift.
--Ages 14+ are welcome
--$60 fee includes all supplies and instruction.
