Adult art classes

It's never too late to express yourself.

At The CVA, we offer learning experiences for all levels of artist, from folks looking to learn a new hobby to semi-professional artists looking for ways to develop and expand their talents. In our classrooms and studios in the Greensboro Cultural Center, you can enjoy all kinds of classes for adults, including wheel-throwing and hand-building pottery, printmaking, and many other programs. If you're looking for a way to develop your skills or just need a creative escape from the day-to-day, please join us! Pottery Studio Annual Membership--Adult - $550.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) This membership gives you access to unlimited hours for Pottery in our Open Studio when it is available for use. Additionally, annual pottery members have the opportunity to participate in weekly in-person classes with an instructor. Glaze fees are included in the membership fee.

Pottery Studio Annual Membership--Quarterly Payment Option - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: Quarterly Automatic renewal (recurring payments) This membership gives you access to unlimited hours for Pottery in our Open Studio when it is available for use. Additionally, annual pottery members have the opportunity to participate in weekly in-person classes with an instructor.

Print Co-Op Membership (annual) - $420.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Membership provides:
Use of a community printmaking studio during open studio hours and the potential to reserve the space for personal/private endeavors

Opportunity to work in a space that encourages collaboration, experimentation, and positive critical thinking

Eligibility to participate in special events and exhibitions that the CVA holds

Access to multiple large-scale, professional printmaking presses (both relief and silkscreen)
-Darkroom space for exposing Silkscreens (not for fine art photography)
-Industrial sized sinks for screen washout and equipment cleaning

Your own flat file for storing paper, prints, and various items in the studio if needed

Industrial-sized tables for large-scale relief carving and mixed media/drawing works

Wall space for displaying works and/or experimenting

An extra fully functional printing press with a semi-damaged roller that can be used for experimental printmaking techniques

Print Co-Op Membership (monthly) - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: Monthly Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Membership provides:
