The CVA is known for our high-quality classes, camps, and school holiday programs for children. Whether it's in an online class or a week-long camp, our educators seek to awaken the artist within each child - or help an already-blooming young talent grow in ability and confidence. For us, children's programs aren't just art classes where students learn technical art skills like drawing, painting, or pottery. They're also opportunities to teach about the history of art, potential creative careers, and broaden young minds.

Whenever possible, we collaborate with public and private schools and other arts organizations to support art educators and provide historically underserved students with exceptional opportunities to experience the visual arts. We do this through programming on site in our Cultural Center classrooms and studios, and also at area schools and other locations.
