Introduction to Comics Workshop (Youth Saturday Workshops)

Our workshop for youth this month focuses on the art of comics.  Students will have the opportunity to create their own mini-comic using information learned during the workshop.  They will be introduced to types and elements of comics, including layouts, backgrounds, panels and the differences between webcomics, issue comics, graphic novels, and newspaper strip comics.  This 2-hour workshop is a great starting point for youth interested in learning how to create their own comics or who are interested in comics in general.

• Workshop fee includes all materials.
• Open to students currently in grades 6 through 12.
