Playing with Clay (4th-6th Grades)

Campers will learn basic handbuilding techniques such as pinch pottery, slab building, coil building, and score & slip. They’ll practice those skills making functional objects as well as decorative, sculptural forms.  In the past, these fun imaginative projects have included gnome cottages, ceramic foods, cups, bowls, and a wide array of animals. Our instructor will guide students from the beginning of the design process through the finished glazed products.

**Please note: This is a 4-day week. The Greensboro Cultural Center and CVA are closed in observance of Juneteenth on Monday, June 19, 2023.**
