(Tuesday) 8-Week Adult Pottery Studio Class (Evening)

Instructor-Led Pottery Classes – Advanced

This class welcomes advanced students. Participants will work in a collaborative, community-focused environment where learning is guided by an experienced instructor and enriched by peer interaction.

Class Format:

• Offered in 8-week sessions.
• Students will explore both handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques, with the opportunity to focus on their preferred method throughout the session.

Materials & Supplies:

• Clay Purchase Required: It is expected that each student purchases at least one 25-pound bag of clay per session.
  • Clay is available for $35 per bag and can be purchased:
    • During online registration at checkout
    • On the first night of class via cash, check, or QR code (available on the CVA website)
  • Note: All clay must be purchased through CVA. Outside clay is not permitted.
• CVA provides a limited number of communal tools for student use.
  • On the first day, the instructor will recommend tools students may wish to purchase for personal use.

Please note that the Greensboro Cultural Center will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.  There will be no class that day.
