Event volunteers

Are you a person who loves art openings and would love to see the hosting side of an event?

This might be the volunteer role for you! As an event volunteer, you may be asked to cashier (knowledge of Square POS is preferred but brief training will be provided), keep count of visitors, assist with artist nametags, bartend, assist with set up and clean up, serve food and drinks, be a photographer, or host a creative activity. 

Every 1st Friday of the month, the Cultural Arts center hosts a building wide event in which gallery participation is expected! Times are 6pm-9pm and volunteers times are from 5-7pm and 7-9pm.

These are our busiest nights of the month and extra helping hands are always welcome.

Gallery Turnover

Are you interested in gaining behind the scenes experience with a gallery? As a gallery turnover volunteer, you'll help install our shows! 

Gallery turnover consists of spackling, sanding, painting walls, cleanup, drilling, and hanging/setting up artwork for display. While experience is strongly preferred, it is not required, as we will have the gallery coordinator who will be able to instruct.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to perform the listed tasks. However, we wouldn't expect you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Appropriate clothing is recommended.
