Wide Open
April 27 - June 27, 2021; entry deadline April 13
An exhibition open to anyone and a chance to show anything you've been working on. This should be RECENT work: works in progress, site-specific installations, sketchbooks, journal entries, poems, family portraits, doodles, collages, unfinished works (things you started and couldn't finish), etc.
Over the past year we imagine that many artists have been making, but are perhaps not done processing this crazy year. Maybe you've just started back after a period of creative block, or maybe you shifted your practice altogether during the pandemic to whatever worked to “get it out." No matter how you've been expressing yourself, we want to create a space for that.
We see this as a time to encourage artists and bring them together to encourage each other and their audience. We will be offering critique sessions, artist talks, and other opportunities to gather in person and virtually as an arts community.
