Greensboro Residency for Original Works

GROW (Greensboro Residency for Original Works), managed by Creative Greensboro, the city’s office of arts and
culture, is an open flex space for Guilford County-based creative individuals and organizations to produce new and original works that encourage visitation and engagement by the public.

The space is available at no charge by competitive review for residencies of one to four weeks. Creative Greensboro welcomes proposals from individuals, collaborative groups, or organizations with a history of producing and presenting creative programming. We are particularly interested in supporting residencies that are programmatically diverse when compared to other activities already occurring in the Greensboro Cultural Center and those that center the voices and experiences of communities of color, low-income communities, and or people who are disabled.

GROW is located on the second floor of the Greensboro Cultural Center, overlooking Davie Street. This central and prominent space is versatile and can be used for various mediums, multi-disciplinary projects, and intimate performances. We are excited to support a wide variety of creative projects through this residency program.

The CVA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our Federal Tax ID# is 56-6083717.
