Inspired by Women in the Arts (7th-12th Grades)

Drawing inspiration from the works of a variety of women in the arts -both historical and contemporary -students will spend this week delving into various techniques and styles and creating their own artwork. Campers will explore the stories and imagery in picture books illustrated by women artists to develop their visual literacy and expand their sense of what’s possible with art and design.

This is one week in a series of related camps where students will have the opportunity to learn about the important contributions to the world these artists made and how their art serves as a way to teach others about cultural diversity.

Please note this is a 4-day week (Tuesday through Friday) due to the Independence Day Holiday.
