How to Showcase Your Art--Part 3: Creating Your Portfolio

Wondering how to improve your portfolio?  Do you want it to have a more professional feel?

In this class, the instructor will discuss building a portfolio, captioning images, writing artist statements/descriptions of the work, how many pieces to show, and how to select pieces to present. The importance of clarity, ease, and uniformity when it comes to portfolio work will be stressed.

This 2-session workshop is the third in a series of workshops centered around showcasing your art in a professional manner.  It will briefly link back to the information presented in the first two parts of this series.

Each Sunday, a new instructional video will be released for you to review at your own pace.  Each week the instructor will meet with participants via Zoom to offer further tips, answer questions, and provide feedback.  Participants will have the opportunity to share with each other as well during these live sessions.

Other topics covered in additional parts of the series include:

  • Part 1: Capturing Your Work
  • Part 2: Editing Your Work
  • Part 4: Building Your Online Presence

Please note, you must register for each part separately.
