Magazine/Photo Paper Collage Workshop

**This event is part of our Friday Evenings Out with Friends, an ongoing series of creative make and take workshops.**

Are you finally ready to venture out again on Friday nights?  Looking for a new or different way to spend your time and tap into your creative side?  Come join us at CVA on Friday evenings this summer to experiment with various collage techniques and create your own artwork you can be proud to display or share with others.  Grab a friend, your favorite beverage, and a snack and head on over to our gallery in the beautiful Greensboro Cultural Center.  It's sure to be an evening filled with fun and friends!

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn how to use patterns, textures, paint, and more to create an image (either realist or abstract) by using magazine and/or photos to create a composition or theme in your final artwork.  You will have some guided lessons and then individual time to work on your own.  At the end of the evening, you will have a completed piece to take home.

Space is limited to 8 participants .  Ages 16 and up.
