Pottery/Ceramics Studio for High Schoolers (8th-12th)

Teen students will create fun and functional ceramic pieces using handbuilding techniques such as pinch pottery, slab building, coil building, and score & slip; they'll also learn basic wheel-throwing skills. With instructor guidance from design through final glazed product, students' creations are limited only by their imaginations. Previous projects have included self-portrait busts, cell phone amplifier "speakers," mugs, pencil holders, ornaments, wall plaques, and more.
