Playing with Clay (4th-6th)

Campers will learn basic hand building techniques such as pinch pottery, slab building, coil building, and score & slip. Using skills learned in class, students will make functional objects as well as decorative, sculptural forms. In the past, these fun imaginative projects have included gnome cottages, ceramic foods, cups, bowls, and a wide array of animals. Instructors will guide students from the beginning of the design process through the finished glazed products.

Please Note: Clay camps meet Tuesday-Friday. No camp on Mondays.
