Digital Design with Photoshop – High School

A project-based course for high school students covering professional image retouching, graphic design, and photo manipulation.  Focuses on creativity, storytelling, and real-world applications like social media content and portfolios. No prior experience needed.

MacBooks will be provided.  Students will need an email address for access to Adobe.  If the student does not have an email address, a parent email address can be used.

About the instructor: Clorinda Vido, aka Chloe, is an artist and teacher from Beaufort, South Carolina. She studied Studio Art and Art History at the College of Charleston and went on to earn her MFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. For the past 11 years, she has loved teaching art in the Piedmont Triad and is currently sharing her passion with students at Hairston Middle School, as well as through classes at the Center for Visual Arts and some weekend classes at Reconsidered Goods. Chloe enjoys working in almost all art mediums. But loves working in Photoshop, colored pencils, sculpture, photography, and acrylic painting. She is always excited to inspire creativity and encourage students to explore new ways of making art.

Please note: This class will meet each Thursday from September 18th through October 8th.
