Portfolio Building Course:

This four week course is designed for middle and high school students preparing to apply for visual art programs, schools and other art opportunities. In this four-week session students will focus on producing high quality, diverse artworks that will display their technical skill and personal artistic voice. By the end of the course students will have carefully completed artworks, ready for submission.

Memento Mori: In this class we will explore the painting genre of Memento Mori Still Lives, but through the medium of charcoal. Though morbid in nature, Memento Mori's serve as a beautiful reminder of the life we live here on earth. By the end of the course students will have a full-value drawing rich with personal and symbolic meaning.

Class Session Dates:

  • February 28th, 2026
  • March 14th, 2026
  • March 28th, 2026

Please note that this class meets every other Saturday.  To get the most out of this class, work will need to be completed independently between class meetings.
