We Arts Greensboro: A Community Art Exhibition

March 6 - April 18

The CVA is excited to announce the Call for Art for our community art exhibition, We Art Greensboro. This beloved exhibition is a chance for ANY artists in Greensboro and surrounding areas, no matter age, medium or experience, to exhibit, and sell. This exhibition is focused on our MISSION as a Non-Profit Community Gallery to support all local emerging artists! Don’t miss the chance to see your artwork hanging in our beautiful gallery space from March 6 – April 19 with an Opening Reception Friday, March 6 from 6-9pm. This opening is FREE and OPEN to the public.

CALL FOR ART begins Jan 8 and ends February 13. Artists may register online or make an appointment with CVA Staff.

Submission Details:

Artists must be from Greensboro or surrounding areas of Greensboro. (Please contact if you have questions)

Artists can be of any age or ability. You will be asked to determine your level of artistry. Art will be exhibited by groupings.

Child – I am under 18.

Novice – I am just getting started in the arts or a hobbyist.

Intermediate – I am an emerging artist and have been working for a few years towards my craft.

Advanced – I have been working for more than 3 years as an artist, sold work and have participated in Exhibitions before.

Professional – I currently make income as an artist.

Art can be any size or medium, 2D or 3D.

Entry Fee is $15.00 (FREE for all CVA Artist Members)

Art needs to be presented professionally and ready to hang. You can upload images online or bring work in personally with appointments with CVA Gallery.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces. (not all pieces are guaranteed to be accepted)

All artwork must be family friendly.

All artwork must be for sale. CVA will take 40% and artist will retain 60% of any artwork sold during the exhibition.

Art inventory should be uploaded. Title, Artist Name, Size, Media, Price. Only PDF, Numbers or Excel files

Art images should be quality JPEG or PNG files only.

Artist should include a short Artist Bio with submission.

All Artwork will be dropped off at the CVA Gallery, 200 N Davie St, Greensboro Cultural Center, 2nd Floor from February 24 - 28 during CVA Gallery Hours.

Artwork pickup dates will be April 18 - 25 during CVA Gallery Hours.

Each artist will sign a CVA Exhibition Contract upon delivery of artwork.
