6-Week Adult Pottery Studio Class (Friday Afternoon)

Special Opportunity: Relaunch of Friday Pottery Classes!

We’re thrilled to reintroduce our Friday pottery sessions with Gentry Leach, one of CVA’s fabulous new instructors who brings a strong background in fine arts and teaching experience.

This shortened 6-week class is perfect for all skill levels—from beginners to intermediate students. You’ll learn the fundamentals of pottery in a collaborative, community-focused environment, guided by an experienced instructor and enriched by peer interaction. By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with original artwork made by your own hands!

Class Highlights:

• Explore both handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques
• Focus on your preferred method throughout the session
• Supportive, inspiring studio setting

Materials & Supplies:

• Clay Purchase Required: Each student is expected to purchase at least one 25-pound bag of clay per session
• Clay is available for $35 per bag and can be purchased:
• • During online registration at checkout
  • On the first night of class via cash, check, or QR code (available on the CVA website)
• Note: All clay must be purchased through CVA; outside clay is not permitted
• CVA provides a limited number of communal tools for student use
• On the first day, the instructor will recommend tools students may wish to purchase for personal use
