Artventure Day: Spooktacular Art & Adventure!

Get ready for a day filled with creative fun, spooky-inspired art, and festive games at CVA!

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will spend the day creating Halloween-inspired artwork, exploring imaginative themes, and participating in playful seasonal activities. Using a variety of mixed media materials, students will create unique works of art inspired by mysterious creatures, autumn nights, costumes, and all things delightfully spooky.

Throughout the day, students will follow a structured schedule that includes:

Welcome activities and creative warm-ups
Guided mixed media art projects with a spooky twist
Snack and movement breaks
Halloween-themed games and collaborative activities
Lunch and outdoor recess in downtown Greensboro parks (weather permitting)
Additional art-making, games, and creative challenges in the afternoon

Our goal is to provide a fun, engaging day that balances creativity, movement, and social connection in a festive, age-appropriate environment.

Please bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle
Outdoor activities are weather permitting
