Artventure Day: A Season of Gratitude

Celebrate the spirit of fall with a day of creativity, reflection, and fun at CVA!

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will enjoy a full day of hands-on art activities inspired by themes of gratitude, kindness, community, and the beauty of the autumn season. Using a variety of mixed media materials, students will create meaningful artwork while exploring what it means to be thankful and connected to the people and places around them.

Throughout the day, students will follow a structured schedule that includes:

Welcome activities and creative warm-ups
Guided art projects inspired by gratitude, fall traditions, and the changing season
Snack and movement breaks
Art-making, games, and collaborative activities
Lunch and outdoor recess in downtown Greensboro parks (weather permitting)
Additional art projects and creative exploration in the afternoon

Students will have opportunities to express themselves creatively, build friendships, and celebrate the season through art, play, and reflection.
