Artventure Day (Apr. 5) - All Students Welcome

Teacher Workday at GCS on April 5? Join us at CVA for an ARTVENTURE DAY!

Students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will enjoy a full day of creative exploration inspired by spring themes and nature. Using a variety of mixed media materials, students will create unique artwork while participating in age-appropriate games, outdoor activities, and community-building experiences.

Throughout the day, students will follow a structured schedule that includes:

Welcome activities and creative warm-ups
Guided art projects using a variety of mixed media
Snack and movement breaks
Art-making, games, and collaborative activities
Lunch and outdoor recess in downtown Greensboro parks (weather permitting)
Additional art projects and creative play in the afternoon

Our goal is to provide a fun, engaging day that balances creativity, social interaction, movement, and artistic exploration.

Program Details

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Open to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
All art supplies included
Please send a lunch, snack, and water bottle
Outdoor activities offered weather permitting
Space is limited, so register early!
